1. Services
Abualmakarem Testing Portal provides avian DNA testing services — primarily DNA sexing — as the official Morinha Lab reseller in Saudi Arabia. Laboratory analysis is performed by Morinha Lab; we are responsible for receiving samples, managing them through the portal, and delivering results and certificates.
2. Samples & collection
The customer is responsible for collecting and packaging samples in line with the guidance provided in the portal. We recommend fresh chest feathers (with the quill tip). Eggshells are accepted, but result reliability depends on prompt, correct collection, and we may be unable to guarantee a result for insufficient or contaminated samples.
3. Results & certificates
Results are made available through the portal and issued as a downloadable certificate. A certificate reflects the result of the sample as analysed and is tied to the bird and sample as registered by the customer; we are not responsible for errors arising from incorrect registration or mislabelling of a sample.
4. Turnaround
Typical turnaround is around one week from sending the sample, including transit. This is an estimate and may be affected by shipping or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Payment & credits
Services are currently priced by direct quote. Vendors operate on a prepaid credit system. Fees are due when a sample is submitted, and consumed credit is non-refundable except as required by law.
6. Accuracy & limitations
DNA sexing is a reliable method, but a result cannot be guaranteed for every sample in all conditions (for example, degraded or contaminated samples). We apply reasonable professional care and are not liable for breeding or commercial decisions made on the basis of results.
7. Privacy & data
We collect the data needed to provide the service (account, bird, sample and activity records) and use it to operate the portal and communicate with you. We do not sell your data. Sample laboratory data is processed by Morinha Lab for the purpose of analysis.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the value of the test concerned. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any disputes will be resolved accordingly.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
